The following new DESKTOP computers support PCI cards. Note that PCI-Express (PCI-E) is different from traditional PCI.

• Many of the Dell Precision, Vostro and Optiplex series desktop computers support PCI cards
• Many of the HP Pavilion series desktop computers support PCI cards
• Many of the Lenovo 3000 series desktop computers support PCI cards
• Many of the Gateway FX530 series desktop computers support PCI cards
• Many of the Sony Vaio Desktop computers do not support PCI, yet do support the i230 Pcmcia Type II
• Toshiba does not manufacture desktop computers, yet does make laptop computers that are compatible with the i230 Type II Pcmcia card
• Panasonic does not manufacture desktop computers, yet does make laptop computers that are compatible with the i230 Type II Pcmcia card
